July 2008 - the Big Sky Country Ride

Jorge Marques, Tom Thompson, Glenn Sparkman and Craig Rodgers hit the road to
do a little bike riding.  They took in Wyoming, Montana, Canada, Idaho, Oregon,
Washington, and Utah.  They covered nearly nearly 2400 miles in 6 days.  Highlights 
included The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park and Hell's Canyon.

Colorado Ride August 2005

This ride started in Raton, New Mexico.  We rode up through Taos and Pagosa Springs to Durango for the first overnight stay.  Day 2 starts with a Pennzoil breakfast for the Ducati, then it was off to Grand Junction via the Million Dollar Highway and Deloris Canyon.  Day 3 took us to Aspen where we discovered the newest technology in Band-Aids - Johnson  & Johnson Advanced First Aid - Advanced Healing Bandages.  Day 4 we climbed over Independence Pass and on to Gunnison - catching my favorite road Hwy 92 on the north rim of the Black Canyon.  Day 5 we picked up Hwy 12 South back to Raton to wrap up a great 1400 mile ride.  Roads like this sure screw up motorcycle riding in Houston.

June 2003 - Motorcycle Tour of Colorado !

Glenn Sparkman, Clint Sparkman, Tom Thompson, Dennis Norton and I struck out on a 
four day tour of Colorado with our street bikes.  Starting in Durango, we headed to Grand 
Junction via the Million Dollar Highway, Telluride and Deloris Canyon.  From there our
destination was Leadville, taking in Aspen and Independence Pass.  On the 3rd day
we were off to Almont (near Crested Butte), making the highlights of the Black Canyon 
of the Gunnison.  The final day took us back to Durango on Hwy 149 past San Juan City
and Wolf Creek Pass.  We did 1167 wonderful miles of scenic beauty.
